Sean Levert Dies!!!

I am so sad to report this just like Gerald Sean was also my friend. He died last night here in Cleveland at Lutheran Hospital at 11:57pm. Sean was taken from Cuyahoga County Jail where he was serving time for back child support. It is unknown how Sean died an autopsy will be done today. To Eddie Levert and his family I am so so sorry for your lost I adored both of your sons. May you find comfort knowing they are now home with our lord and saviour.

Papoose Marrying Remy In Jail!!!

After denying there relationship for the longest time Papoose has finally confirmed what we all knew they he and Remy are very much a couple and planned on getting married next month on a yacht but since she has been locked up he says they to wed while she is behind bars.

"Right now, I just feel like she gotta live through me. Yes, we were scheduled to be married on a yacht April 27th. I just don't get it I would do anything to keep my freedom but Beanie Sigel apparently likes being locked up he submitted someone else's urine.

He already was serving a six-month term in a halfway house for having previously violated supervised release last December. Remy Ma was convicted today for Assault on Makeba Barnes Joseph. She is being hailed without bail until her April 23 sentencing. Remy cried out in court as she was being taken away in handcuffs. Remy faces up to 25 years in prison.

Word has it Mrs. Raymond is pissed that Usher hand picked the beautiful Keri Hilson to play his love interest in his new video.

Busta Gets 3 Years Probation!!!

A judge sentenced Busta Rhymes to three years' probation Tuesday for assaulting his former driver and a fan, and warned the rapper to stay out of trouble.

The 35-year-old Rhymes, whose real name is Trevor Smith, was also ordered to perform 10 days of community service; pay a $1,250 fine, plus court costs; and enroll in a drunken driving program.
After the sentencing, Rhymes said the terms of the plea deal won't be a problem. "I have no trouble being a good dude because that's what I am," he said.
Scott Leemon, Rhymes' lawyer, said a private agency called Rock Corp. will work out the community service program. He said he doesn't know yet what it will be. He also said Rhymes has paid most of the fines and surcharges he owed.
Manhattan Criminal Court Judge Larry Stephen put Rhymes on notice that he must abide by the conditions of his probation.
"If you mess up, you're going to jail," he said. "I've given you a chance."
Rhymes said after the sentencing, "I couldn't feel better, and this couldn't have happened at a better time. I thank the judge for giving me a chance and I thank everybody for being supportive."
The rapper said he wanted to get back to "having fun, making music, running around and showing love."

Puffy Denies Report From The L.A. Times!!!

Puffy is denying the report that the L.A. Times is reporting that he knew Tupac was going to be attacked the day he was killed.

“This story is beyond ridiculous and completely false. Neither Biggie nor I had any knowledge of any attack before, during or after it happened. It is a complete lie to suggest that there was any involvement by Biggie or myself. I am shocked that the Los Angeles Times would be so irresponsible as to publish such a baseless and completely untrue story.”

L.A. Times:

Now, newly discovered information, including interviews with people who were at the studio that night, lends credence to Shakur’s insistence that associates of rap impresario Sean “Diddy” Combs were behind the assault. Their alleged motives: to punish Shakur for disrespecting them and rejecting their business overtures and, not incidentally, to curry favor with Combs.
The information focuses on two New York hip-hop figures — talent manager James “Jimmy Henchman” Rosemond and promoter James Sabatino, who is now in prison for unrelated crimes.
Rosemond has long denied any role in the Quad incident. He declined to be interviewed for this article, but his lawyer, Jeffrey Lichtman, dismissed the new information as “ancient double-hearsay allegations.”
Lichtman noted that Rosemond had never been charged or questioned in connection with the attack — a sign, Lichtman said, that federal authorities have “discounted” what the informant told them. Rosemond “was not involved in the assault and will not be prosecuted for it,” Lichtman said. Sabatino declined to comment. Combs, whose business empire includes Bad Boy Records and clothing and fragrance lines, also declined to comment.
The FBI documents do not name the informant. The Times learned his identity and verified that he was at the Quad on the night of the assault. When contacted, the man said the FBI records accurately convey what happened, and what he told investigators. He and the other sources interviewed for this article discussed the events of Nov. 30, 1994, on condition that their names not be published. Their accounts are consistent with Shakur’s own. In interviews and on recordings, the rapper blamed Rosemond, Combs and their associates for the attack and promised to get even.

The comments I made on the aforementioned blog post were not only covered by my First Amendment right to Free Speech but I’m also covered under “Fair Use.” You see my blog was based on OPINION…a very informed opinion but an opinion none the less. If you want to protect your content, perhaps you might not want to use Myspace as your site host. Their policies further make any content you post more public.
So I tried to be nice, give you a heads up that I thought your ad was putrid. Apparently you took my constructive criticism very seriously because since my comments you’ve actually changed the ad creative (shown below). Don’t worry I won’t charge you for the marketing consultation…that one is on the house; the next one won’t be.

This is another example of the sensitive ass business of Hip Hop. I think you, the brass over at Strapped should really pull the leash on your legal team. The NEGATIVE attention you’ve received from blogs like Highbrid Nation and others only boosted your brand recognition…EXPONENTIALLY. Before last week you were a little known regional brand and now because of what I called a “marketing foul-up,” one could argue your brand has gone national…maybe international. Instead you want to make this a bravado competition, showing off your lawyer. Well I got suits too…and mine are tailor made. Aretha Franklin Home In Foreclosure!!!

The Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin house has been put in foreclosure due to past due taxes.
Aretha says a mistake by her lawyer over $445 in 2005 taxes and late fees caused her $700,000 mansion to slip into foreclosure. According to court documents, the big-boned singer owes $19,192 in back taxes.
She says she plans to pay up and reclaim the mansion by the March 31 deadline. A call to Aretha's rep was not immediately returned.
