Word on the street is Whoopi Goldberg will be the next host on The View (say it ain't so). As far as ABC is concerned she has the job if she wants it. They indicated she would be the perfect fit for the show. Other candidates that were being considered Kathy Griffin and Rosanne Barr. Whoopi I have just two words to say Star Jones!
