Prosecutors have reduced Remy Ma charges from attempted murder to assault. The reason behind this is prosecutors originally though she shot Makeba Barnes-Joseph intentionally but now they believe the gun went off accidentally yeah right. Can someone tell me how you accidentally shoot someone 3 times? Whatever! New charges have been filed against the rapper accusing her of assaulting the boyfriend of a witness in the case. According to TMZ, on August 19 Remy apparently saw the boyfriend of a possible witness while at a club in the Bronx. Remy then allegedly had a group of her associates attack him, resulting in the man suffering a black eye and a fractured bone in his face. The man reportedly also had to get a metal plate put in his face and was required hospitalization for a week. A friend of the man was also injured, suffering a broken jaw. She is now facing charges of gang assault, tampering with a witness, intimidating a victim and third degree assault of the night club incident.
